Bethenny's favorite room

Picture

Her pièce de résistance? The to-die-for den-turned-master-closet…Clearly, it’s her favorite room. “I wanted a closet like this my whole life, and finally, I don’t have to shove things under the bed.”  As written by Cathy Whitlock, Traditional Home

I worked for 10 months on the renovation project of Bethenny's loft in Tribeca. I designed all of her closets, created the infamous dressing room and helped her with professional organizing and styling of her dressing room and all of her storage in the apartment. It was a treat to make her dream a reality.

Client had installed wire shelving with no drawers and underutilized space for storage and hanging, thus everything piled up on the shelves and the floor.

I designed and created shelving for shoes, bags, folded, drawers and double hanging. Removing everything from piles off the floor, allowed space for an ottoman in the middle. Adding wallpaper as backing, crown to ceiling and a small chandelier, the once cluttered closet becomes an elegant room to dress in.

created walk-in closet from attic storage

With the help of my friends George Oliphant, Stephen Fanuka, Rhonda Scharf and Marc Spector we rescued the DiMarcos and created a master bedroom suite on the 2nd floor of their home. I was responsible for designing the new Walk-in Closet and organizing and styling it for the reveal.
What a difference 2 weeks make! Hard work, attention to detail and lots of folks hustling got the job done.
